WHY TRAIN AT CDT?

Commercial Diver Training Ltd is now authorised by Kirby Morgan and Dive Lab Inc to deliver the ‘Kirby Morgan Maintenance and Repair Technician’ Course. Our course is run by highly experienced KM Technicians with real world experience maintaining and repairing the full spectrum of KM and commercial diving equipment. The technician training facilities at CDT enhance the course to ensure maximum ‘hands on’ opportunities. This is a non-residential course.

Students will also be trained in following Kirby Morgan/Dive Lab procedures, guidelines and updates to ensure current practices are always used.

ONCE QUALIFIED, WHAT CAN I DO?

Qualified Technicians can perform routine maintenance (including monthly checks and annual servicing) of Kirby Morgan equipment (that was covered in your course) for their company as well as instruct company personnel to the level of ‘Kirby Morgan Operator and User’.

If the attendee is self-funded, you can repair Kirby Morgan equipment for any company that you are currently employed by, however you cannot act as an independent technician.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

The course is intended for divers and supporting staff to be able to perform routine maintenance of Kirby Morgan equipment.

HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?

In accordance with Kirby Morgan and Dive Lab guidelines, the course is run over three days whether it be an initial or re-validating certification. Initial certifications will be valid for 3 years, if you are re-validating your existing (in-date) qualification you new certification will now be valid for 4 years.

Certifications are issued by Dive Lab Inc.
